Kaleidoscope Month 2009

Unfortunately, this is the LAST WEEK of Kaleidoscope Month 2009. But don’t worry theres still some AWESOME events that you guys should come out to!!
First: Tonight is the Asian Food Festival – One Flavor. It’s located at the Indian Center of Culture and Education (ICEC), on 13th Street. Doors open at 6:30PM; Show and Food Serving Starts at 7PM. Come join us for FREE food, fun, and entertainment! Taste various cuisines from different sub-organizations and vote for the Best Main Dish, Best Dessert, Most Aesthetic, and Best Overall while you entertained by the AASU’s Got Talent Show winners!

Second: Tomorrow is the KUSA Seoul Sho’ at the Reitz Grand Ballroom. Doors open at 6:30PM; Show starts at 7PM. Witness KUSA’s cultural show of the semester and learn the different customs and traditions of Korea that’ll definitely touch your “Seoul.” It’s a showcase that fuses the past and present in Korean culture and promises an unforgettable performance.

Third: Wednesday is the K-Month/AASU Language Workshop at the Ustler Hall Atrium. Doors open at 6:00PM; Event starts at 6:30PM. There’s no school on Wednesday, so come out and and learn different colloquial and idiomatic expressions from various cultures, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. Free food from Green Plantains and Lollicup will be provided!

Lastly: The K-Month Asian Arts and Entertainment Festival & Closing Ceremony – We are One is this Friday at the Reitz Union Amphitheatre. “Doors” open at 6:30PM; Show starts at 7PM. This is the final event of Kaleidoscope Month! This event will showcase different aspects of the entertainment business and highlight the talents of different Asian and Asian-American performers. As the Closing Ceremony, we will re-cap the entire month of epicness and bid farewell to yet another successful Asian-American Awareness Month!

This is the LAST week of Kmonth 2009, so please come out to any or all of these events!!! There are going to be awesome shows, free food, and tons of exciting performances going on almost every day. So bring your friends and come enjoy Kmonth for the last time until next year!!!
